Compassionate therapy for perimenopausal and menopausal women who no longer feel like themselves.
.
Does this sound like you?
Waking up at three a.m. for no apparent reason?
Your body composition changing overnight, even though you haven't changed your exercise routine or diet?
Difficulty gathering your thoughts?
Feeling anxious or sad without a specific reason?
Low libido and/or pain with sex?
Feeling suddenly hot (or cold) for no apparent reason?
Noticing pain in your body you've never felt before?
Feeling tired all the time?
Your doctor telling you all these symptoms "are just a part of aging"?
If you answered yes to one or more of these, I hear you. I am with you. I am you.
I naively thought I'd slip into perimenopause and menopause without much change. Instead, this transition hit me like a wrecking ball. I got knocked to the ground, and I knew I couldn't stay there. So I pursued interdisciplinary training in perimenopause and menopause, and in the process earned my Licensed Psychologist Perimenopause certification from The Perry Academy. That training taught me something I now want you to know too: I didn't have to suffer, and neither do you.
Imagine waking up feeling empowered, capable, and informed about how to care for your changing body. I'll work with you to build tools that address your symptoms, help you advocate for yourself with your medical provider, and, if needed, help you find a provider who's supportive and well-informed. My goal is to help you keep moving toward what matters most to you as you navigate this transition. You don't have to do this alone, and you don't have to have it all figured out to start.
I'm passionate about supporting women through the perimenopause and menopause transition.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can find out if my approach is right for you. I look forward to speaking with you.
