Childhood trauma can leave deep and lasting imprints on how you see yourself, relate to others, and move through the world.

Even years later, you may find yourself struggling with anxiety, shame, emotional numbness, perfectionism, or difficulty trusting others. Healing is possible — and it begins with compassionate, evidence-based care.

I specialize in working with adult survivors of childhood abuse who are ready to understand their pain, develop emotional safety, and reconnect with their authentic selves. My approach is collaborative, gentle, and grounded in the belief that every part of you holds wisdom and a longing to heal.

Therapeutic Approach

My work integrates several trauma-informed therapies to support whole-person healing:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Cultivate mindfulness and psychological flexibility to live in alignment with your values, even in the presence of pain.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Build skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Learn to compassionately understand and heal the wounded parts of yourself.

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT): Develop a kinder, more supportive inner voice and reduce shame.

  • Exposure-Based and Trauma-Informed Interventions: Gently face and process difficult memories and sensations in a way that restores a sense of safety and empowerment.

Every session is guided by respect for your pace, your story, and your inherent resilience.

What Healing Can Look Like

Calm ocean waves gently lapping at a sandy beach during sunset with a colorful sky in shades of blue, pink, and orange.

Through this work, clients often find that they:

  • Feel more grounded and connected to their bodies

  • Experience less self-criticism and more self-compassion

  • Build relationships that feel safe and mutual

  • Reconnect with a sense of purpose, pleasure, and vitality

  • Develop the confidence to live in ways that truly matter to them
